Once you have picked up the Archaeology and Treasure Hunting crew skills, you can open the crafting panel with the B key on your keyboard. You can send your companions out to gather materials for you.
You may have even already earned some Artifice crafting materials while you were playing that went straight to your crafting bay! Crew Skill Missions This Materials Bay is shared by all your characters on your server and anything you craft will automatically pull from your Materials Bay supply. To open your Materials Bay, click the symbol of a diamond on the top left of your inventory.
An important thing to know about all crafting materials is that they don’t go in to your inventory most of the time – instead they automatically go in to a special type of bank called your Materials Bay.
